High Intensity Interval Training To Decrease Blood Pressure

The HIIT bike workouts are perfect for torching calories, lowering blood pressure and boosting cardiovascular fitness. HIIT bike workouts are a great way to ramp up your cardio sessions, while also boosting heart health and aerobic fitness. HIIT, or high intensity interval training, involves working at a vigorous level then backing off for a short recovery period. You repeat this again and again, with sessions typically lasting between 10 and 30 minutes. You can pump these sessions out doing bodyweight work – but you can also jump on one of the gym bikes for a HIIT session. High-intensity interval training (HIIT) alternates short bouts of intense or explosive anaerobic exercise with short recovery periods until exhaustion, relying almost exclusively on the anaerobic energy releasing system. Exercises are performed in repeated bursts of maximum or near maximal effort with periods of rest or low activity between intervals.
