In the International Yoga Day 2022, NDTV publishes videos with several yoga exercises that you may use to reduce high blood pressure: 1) Pranayamas are among the easiest yoga practices you can do to lower your blood pressure. Breathing exercises do not require any equipment, so you can do them anywhere. Nadi Shodhan Pranayamas are among the easiest Pranayamas. 2) Virasana, or the Hero Pose, can be done by almost anyone. It is ideal for beginners and requires minimal movement. 3) The ‘head-to-knee pose’ or Janu Sirsasana is another effective stretching yoga pose. In addition to lowering your blood pressure, it increases your body’s flexibility. 4) Balasana is another low-intensity yoga pose that lowers blood pressure and relaxes the body and mind.
